Current Opportunities
Research Analyst
Location: New York, NY (Hybrid)
Reports To: Engagement Lead
A Sted Consulting Research Analyst supports client engagements by gathering and analyzing market data, financial information, and sector trends. This role is ideal for candidates early in their careers who want to build strong analytical foundations within a strategy consultancy.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct desk research on markets, competitors, and regulatory environments
- Build financial models to support opportunity assessment and due diligence
- Prepare data visualizations and summary tables for client deliverables
- Monitor industry developments and maintain sector-specific databases
- Assist consultants with stakeholder mapping and outreach preparation
- Contribute to the preparation of workshop materials and presentation decks
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business, or a related field
- 1–3 years of experience in research, analysis, or a support role within professional services
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Bloomberg, Capital IQ, or similar platforms is a plus
- Strong quantitative skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with market entry projects or commercial due diligence
- Knowledge of valuation methodologies
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Business Support Specialist
Location: New York, NY (On-site)
Reports To: Office Manager
The Business Support Specialist ensures the smooth day-to-day operation of our New York office. This role combines administrative excellence with proactive support for consultants and partners, enabling the team to focus on delivering high-quality client work.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage office logistics, including meeting room bookings, catering, and supplies
- Support travel arrangements for consultants and visitors
- Assist with the preparation of expense reports and invoice processing
- Maintain client confidentiality protocols and document control systems
- Coordinate internal events, training sessions, and knowledge-sharing initiatives
- Provide ad-hoc support for marketing proposals and business development activities
- Serve as the first point of contact for visitors and external callers
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
- 2+ years of experience in office administration, executive support, or business operations
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
- Strong organizational skills and ability to anticipate needs
- Professional demeanor and excellent interpersonal skills
- Discretion when handling confidential information
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within a professional services or financial services environment
- Familiarity with CRM systems or proposal management tools
